Shut-Eye Lullaby

Shut-Eye Lullaby
20 May 2016

Today was so much fun,
But it’s all over and done.
Tomorrow you’ll play and run
All day out in the sun.
Jamison, good night.
Jamison, sleep tight.

Now it’s time to dream
About when you jump and leap
Splashing in a stream,
Dream it all in your sleep.
Jamison, good night.
Jamison, sleep tight.

Your dreams’ll be a pretty sight
As you make everything all right.
Now it’s time to say “good night.”
Now it’s time to sleep tight.
Jamison, good night.
Jamison, sleep tight.

Lay down and close your eyes.
Breathe deep and relax to sighs
As Daddy starts to rhapsodize,
Harmonize and sing lullabies.
Jamison, good night.
Jamison, sleep tight.

Labor Day on the Bay

Labor Day on the Bay
8 Sept 2015

To celebrate Labor Day
We went to play in the sun,
Splashing in the bay,
And building a sandcastle for fun.
Our castle was shapeless.
The sand resisted conforming.
Shaping battlements was hopeless.
Water and kids performing
Their best to undermine
Building efforts by adults.
Their joint forces did combine
To give suboptimal results.
Amid all the fun and recreation,
The sun's ever churning fusion
Emitted ultraviolet radiation,
Giving the kids a burning conclusion.
From a parental point of view
Perhaps nothing was accomplished.
But there was no emergency rescue
And for the time “work” vanished.

Shower by the Hour

Shower by the Hour
29 November 2014

I swear the gas bill’s going up
And the water bill, too.
It’s all from Al showing up
To shower and shampoo.
When the water’s just right
He doesn’t know he’s over the top
And the water just runs in spite
Of the costs going on non-stop.
He turns around and around
Under the water’s warm spray,
Dancing naked and unbound,
Acting like it’s time to play.
He’d turn the water off
If he had any common sense.
It’s time to towel off
Instead of testing my beneficence.
I fervently hope that he
Cooperates and understands
Instead of leaving me
Just wringing my hands.

Quarters' Importers and Exporters

Quarters' Importers and Exporters
21 August 2012

Calling:

All hail East, whose element is air.
Come, attend us, in our prayer.
Join us in our rite
As we celebrate this night.

Hail South, whose element is fire.
Be with us to grant our hearts' desire.
Dance and make us right
As we play this night.

All hail West, whose element is water
And whose animals are bear and otter.
Lend us your influence as we unite
To romp and frolic tonight.

Hail North, whose element is earth,
Help this tribe as we give birth
To mirth and our souls take flight
On this honorable night.

Releasing:

Hail color white and direction East,
Thanks for attending our feast.
You are now released.

All hail North and color evergreen,
Thanks for visiting us and points in between
We set you free, to go on serene.

Hail West and color blue,
We give you your due
And bid a fond adieu.

All hail South and color red
Thanks for the presents you spread
We say farewell as we head to bed.

We release back to your abodes
To resume your normal modes
Until called for future episodes.

Declaration of Exhilaration

Declaration of Exhilaration
4 July 2012

My four-year-old self emerged today
It felt safe for him to talk and play.
For years he kept secret hidden away,
Afraid of getting into trouble he'd say.
Now he gets to do things his own way.
This Fourth of July is a celebration
Of his freedom and liberation
After years of self-incarceration
From unfiltered victimization
To the point of obliteration.
From the years of suppression
It'll take some decompression
And incremental progression
Before he takes full possession
And my voice finds expression.

Dore Story

I went with my friend to the Dore Alley Street Fair last weekend.

Dore Story

25 July 2010

We went for a weekend stay

In San Francisco by the bay.

The sidewalks and gutters were dirty

But the cruising men were flirty.

The sky was overcast

But that didn’t last.

The sun played peek-a-boo

As we greeted a friend or two.

Although it was a bit cold

We found hot cocks to hold.

We thought it would do no harm

To go in the bar and get warm.

Gradually the temperature rose,

Men began to shed their clothes

And the guys started to play,

First one cock then two on display.

I tell you the truth, I’m not joking

Before long several men were stroking

Somebody else’s bone

If it wasn’t their own.

Early on the barback warned against sucking

But later on there was outright fucking.

Tits were stimulated

As men masturbated.

Having a slight headache

Made the music hard to take.

There was a sense of euphoria

Mixed with some claustrophobia.

It was hard for a cocksucker to kneel.

The crowd made it easy to cop a feel.

Orgasms later we got out of there

Just to get some fresh air.

Bawdy Body

Bawdy Body

Kiss me from my eye to my thigh.
Blow on me from my ear to my rear.
Lick me from my gut to my butt.
Touch me from my lip to my hip.
Taste the forbidden fruit.
Play with my root
Chakra. Explore more
Of what we're here for.
Without hesitation
Let romance
And sensation
Begin to enhance
The erotic stimulation.
Let's remeasure
The level of pleasure.
Let our interaction
Start a chain reaction.
Take me over the top,
More, more, don't stop.
My body's all yours
And I'm out of metaphors.
I really don't mind
If you help me find
The splendid sights
From obscene heights.
The universe's within reach
As I let out a screech
A tidal wave of sensation
Culminates the mobilization
Of intercourse and interaction
To mutual satisfaction.
From this time hence
There is no sense
In trying to compare
A feeling that rare.
Filed forever in my memories
Are the rockets and glories
Of your bestowment
Of that special moment.
I don't care if they call it a sin,
I just want to do it again.
